The song “one more day” has a mellifluous perk to it that can lift the spirits of even the dourest sourpuss. “Aint no thing is perfect” is true to its blues roots. It’s the type of tune that raises the perennial paradox of bluesy music that sounds so good it can’t help but make a pig smile.
