What’s black and what and red all over? A Gothic kid holding roses for his Valentine’s Day date.

Bad taste? Maybe. But the point is that love comes in all shapes and sizes: Goth, naughty, preps, jocks and freaks.

We like the freaks. They seem to get us pigs… Sometimes too well. :-/

Did you know they do heart valve replacements with pig and cow hearts? The pig learned about it on Grey’s Anatomy. Silly Christina Yang was running around prepping a woman for a valve replacement, only the woman couldn’t decide if she wanted pig or cow parts.

We say pick pig! We’ve got strong hearts. If you need someone else’s heart, pick pig.

Happy V-Day, When Can We Have Sex?

So that’s what they’re really after? As a pig, I’m offended. We get depicted as the condomless, animals that want sex without taking safety procautions. Screw that. They named their company after a fake horse incident. Why not depict a bunch of nasty, fake horses looking for a cheap thrill?

Stop painting the porcine in filthy roles. If we snort, do we not breathe? If you cut us, do we not squeel in pain?

In any case, we pigs get a bad rap. We like romance: candy and flowers. Put ‘em in a doggie bag for us. Nothing makes us happier.

We know how Jabzug feels about romance anyway… She’s the piglet that put this card together.

You’ve gotta love a good Forest Gump reference, right? While we’re at it, I could go really go for some shrimp. Pigs and shrimp go well together – we’re treif buddies.

Although this card is listed under Valentine’s Day, it’s a lovey card for all occasions. If your honey loves movie references, drop this as a random act of kindness. Or if you’ve done something really stupid (forgot an anniversary, wrecked your shared vehicle, etc.), you could send your gal this card as a self depricating apology. It says, “Oops… At least we have love.”

Sometimes relationships are like a chess game. You move your pawn forward on square at a time, waiting for the other player to move his pawn forward one square at a time. Vulnerability is moves away, once you’ve learned how the other person likes to position her pieces on the board. Chess is a dance of pieces across a board. Dating is a dance of gestures, connection and understanding.
